Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Financial Trading

Description

Learn to trade on a live trading floor in the City. The Divento Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Financial Trading is a five to six week, in-person programme taught by people who trade for a living.

It is an accredited, Ofqual-regulated Level 5 Diploma (32 RQF credits) that sits within the BSc (Hons) Financial Trading and Investment Management degree. You are assessed on a portfolio of your own work, with no exam, and it carries associate membership of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). Added value includes employability workshops such as CV compilation and mock interviews, plus access to Divento's network of trading firms, investment banks, brokerages and derivatives exchanges.

The course fee is £3,499, depending on cohort size. It may be fundable through an Advanced Learner Loan, which you only repay once you are earning above the threshold, so cost need not be a barrier.

Positive employment outcomes from previous cohorts include futures and options traders, FX brokers, compliance officers, risk managers and investment administrators.

"Completing the Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Financial Trading through Divento was a pivotal step in my career. Spending a summer trading daily on a simulated desk, starting each morning with market prep and trading through to the close, gave me invaluable exposure to futures, asset classes, technical analysis, risk management, and positioning. The experience helped build many of the skills and disciplines I still rely on today. One of the highlights was learning from experienced market professionals and building relationships with mentors who I remain in contact with years later. A fun coincidence is that the programme was run from Marex's offices. Seeing the Marex environment firsthand was actually what inspired me to apply to the firm, making it even more rewarding to now be part of the business. A special thank you to James, who generously helped me prepare for interviews and provided guidance that played a key role in my early career. I would highly recommend the programme to anyone looking to gain practical market experience and build a strong foundation in financial trading."
